The Shaw Mind Foundation is currently seeking a volunteer to look after collection tins and boxes placed in shops and businesses around the UK. This is a flexible location volunteer role. You will be provided with telephone training and will join our ever-increasing team of people who donate their time, skills and enthusiasm to support people living with a mental illness and their families. As a Volunteer Collection Box Coordinator, you will: Enjoy a role where you meet new people A flexible role which will fit around your activities Visit shops and businesses local to you approximately every 6-12 weeks to check tins, ensuring they are correctly labelled and sealed. Count and bank contents Scope out new sites to place tins Enjoy being part of your community and meeting new people. This role is flexible in location and you can cover your home town or city or wider area. We will cover any travel or other expenses incurred within this role.
