Volunteers for Rallyround are part of a network to help carers. One of the great things about Rallyround is how flexible it is and how you can use your existing skills to help other people. Carers are responsible for looking after a member of their family. Carers can be a full time carer or someone trying to continue working as well as being a carer. Rallyround is an online support network which involves families, friends, volunteers and professionals who can offer to help when a carer needs a helping hand.
Could you provide some practical help, a bit of support, chat on line or do a small job doing? Carers can request help with small household tasks that they haven't got time to do and a member of the scheme can offer to help.
Anyone with a practical skill, knowledge or the ability to give some time or support can volunteer to help. Volunteers can help or assist in many different activities and it is a very flexible way to help and volunteer. Carers post small jobs or things they need help with on to Rally Round and volunteers can offer to help.
Volunteers need access to the internet (PC or Mobile phone) and an email address.
