Our Centre’s are a hive of activity with clients coming through the doors all day looking for the advice and guidance that they need. Each Centre can get very busy and so we need people that can meet and greet clients, take their details and make any waiting as comfortable as possible. As a Meet and Greet Volunteer you are the first friendly and welcoming face our clients see when they access our services making you a key volunteer within the organization.
Main Duties and Responsibilities Our Meet and Greet Volunteers will need to: - Greet clients and visitors - Ensure clients know what is happening and how long they may have to wait - Monitor client numbers and waiting times - Explain the services that are available from Cheshire West Citizens Advice - Show clients how to use the computers available to find information - Show clients self-help materials - Enter information or look up clients on our computer systems - Maintain the waiting area
Skills and Qualities We would really like to hear from people that are: - Friendly and approachable - Believe in excellent customer service - Have a good manner when talking to people - Have an understanding of, and commitment to, confidentiality - Have basic computing skills
