The' incredible edibles' is a garden surrounding the church made up of raised beds, garden and vegetable plot. The garden is in need of someone with experience who can manage and timetable work in the garden area and make the incredible edible garden productive. This would suit someone interested in growing their own food or who has previously had their own or a family allotment. You need to be able to plan in advance for seeding, planting, preparation of growing beds, watering, pruning, organise the work and harvesting the produce and the jobs that need doing with other volunteers. Knowledge of fruit and vegetable growing is essential for this role. Your input into how to get the best out of small space and how to maximise the yield of veg will be an important element of this role, but you will also need to direct other volunteers when jobs in the garden need doing.
