Alternative Future Group provides person centred support to those with learning disabilities or those with mental health needs. They also recognise that every individual has dreams and aspirations and are looking for Volunteer General Helpers to work with and be a part of their established team.
This role is incredibly rewarding and will involve working with and supporting people who are recovering from mental illness, within the Ellesmere Port area. The role varies from driving, helping out at events, assisting with activities you have an interest in. Activities could include music, entertainment, equally the role is flexible, so you can contribute around your existing commitments.
So, if you have some time to spare and would gain the satisfaction of contributing to a worthwhile cause, then your time and your help will be warmly received. You need to have a friendly and approachable manner and be non judgemental. You will be working with like minded team members that already support and work within the charity.
