Do you have a strong interest and or a love for gardening? Would enjoy the opportunity to share your skills and passion for gardening with others, and at the same time make a massive difference to peoples lives? If so, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.
Alternative Future Group provides person centred support to those with learning disabilities or those with mental health needs. They also recognize that every individual has dreams and aspirations and are looking to facilitate Gardening lessons in a raised bed and bedding area within the grounds of their premises.
This role is an incredibly rewarding and will involve working with a small group of people, who are recovering from mental illness, within the Ellesmere Port area. All of whom are interested in and want to learn how to garden predominantly in raised beds and bedding areas. With your mentoring, not only could you help them to learn, create and achieve, you would also enjoy sharing the passion you have for your skill as well as making a real positive difference to peoples lives.
So, if you have some time to spare and would gain the satisfaction of sharing your skill with others who also want to learn, then you time and skill will be warmly received.
