Are you an enthusiastic gardener? Would you like to tend a garden plot? Do you know when to trim, when to plant, when to deadhead plants and when to water? Would you like to pass on your love of gardening onto other people? Could you help others to take part in garden activities such as mowing and general upkeep of the garden?
This role needs someone who can show others what needs doing and when it needs doing? This gardening role is not just about the upkeep of the garden but needs someone who could take charge and manage the garden and instruct or direct volunteers or residents in what chores need doing in the garden.

Gardening skills. Plant knowledge. Knowledge of when to plant, prune, mow.
The ability to direct others or plan what needs doing and when would really be useful in this role.
Knowledge of safe working practices around any tools or machinery eg lawn mowers etc
Ability to coach or enthuse others in gardening skills and know-how would be really useful in this role so that the residents can play a part in the upkeep of the garden.
Situated in the Neston area.
2 to 3 hours per week.
