Community fundraising is at the centre of how the charity raises funds to deliver a real difference at both a local and national level. Your skill, your time and dedication would make a massive difference to help to research and analyse opportunities as well as information, so the most effective immediate and longer term decisions can be made .
Volunteers in this role will typically:
-carry out research into prospective new partners for raising funds
-collect qualitative and quantitative data
-interpreting information and making suggestions
-records information within spreadsheets, databases and reports
-being part of significant internet research and liaising with people by email, phone and in writing.
This role usually takes place during office hours, however for the right volunteer, there may be flexibility to work outside of traditional hours.
