Would you like to be part of a fantastic, dedicated, hardworking team, meet some wonderful people and at the same time have lots of fun raising funds? Do you like meeting new people, have time to spare and would love to support a local charity?
Volunteer fundraisers are needed to support the fundraising team by either supplementing the team at events or by running and managing fundraising events themselves. Events that Fundraising Volunteers have covered recently have been the Liverpool Duck Race, a Sunset Walk, Beer Festivals to Sport Car Events. The list is diverse and endless! The charity is always looking for new ideas to fundraise.
Typically the role involves:
- enjoying the benefits of attending great events in different locations across the community.
- helping to raise the profile of Claire House to the public.
- working with like minded people to make a massive difference to the charity and their beneficiaries.
In return, you will gain the satisfaction of playing an important and valuable role towards the success of a local charity within your community, whilst working with like minded people. The role will also help build on existing skills; it is a place where you make new friends and achieve new goals, whilst making a great difference to the lives of Claire House children, young people and their families.
Claire House is appreciative of any time to spare and ask that you are able to commit to a years help in your area. There are no upper age limits and we are happy to accept Duke of Edinburgh students as Fundraising Volunteers, however those from the age of 14 to 16 will need parental involvement. Training & guidance will be given in areas applicable to the role. Travelling expenses will be reimbursed if requested.
No previous experience is required. You need to be keen, honest and reliable and enjoy working with people,be friendly, enthusiastic and have a regular amount of time to spare and can commit at least 12 months support.
