Suitable for under 18s

We are holding a bucket collection at Tesco to raise money for our work with people who live with severe mental illness.
This will involve holding collection buckets for donations from outgoing Tesco customers. It will be indoors, in the Tesco entrance, and you will be paired with one other volunteer for the duration of the shift.
Fundraising is incredibly important to small charities like ours because they have a direct effect on the quality of the support we provide to our beneficiaries. £1,000 will provide one person with severe mental illness with Chapter’s enabling support for a full year. A recent bucket collection at Bangor-on-Dee races raised around £400, which will pay for an 8-week Arts and Crafts course, providing service-users with the chance to learn new hobbies in a relaxed and supportive environment. You will be making a huge difference!
You will be representing Chapter in the community, so you will need to be outgoing and approachable. No previous experience required.
