Community fundraising is at the centre of how the charity raises funds to deliver a real difference at a local level fundraising within the community. Fundraising events are diverse and could include coffee mornings, tea parties, fashion shows, music events to auctions! Community fundraising is at the centre of how the charity raises funds to deliver a real difference at a local level. The Society is always open to fundraising ideas and your skill, your time and dedication would make a massive difference.
Volunteers in this role will typically:
-attend a fundraising group or agreeing to be informed about local events that the Society needs local volunteers to fundraise for.
-Contributing ideas to how money can be raised and help, if possible, to organise events
-complete basic community fundraising paperwork and follow money handling and relevant banking procedures
This is a flexible role in terms of hours. However in order to achieve continuity, regular volunteering is required.
