The Patient and Public Involvement Forums are groups of volunteers who are shaping decisions that impact local healthcare services, everyday. They are independent with legal powers to ensure the NHS takes local healthcare needs into serious consideration.
Suitable volunteers must be able to commit at least 3 hours per week, have an interest in health and health care and be able to work for the wider community to improve services for everyone.
Volunteers would be doing things like visiting NHS premises, talking to patients, talking to staff, looking over documents and consulting with the wider public. It's a fantastic opportunity for anyone who might want to work or get involved with the NHS.
