Have an interest & knowledge of canals? We need Curatorial volunteers to work with the Collections Manager on maintenance, display and research within the collection. Also help deliver interactive interpretation across the National Waterways Museum.

Curatorial team volunteers work with the Collections Manager on maintenance, display and research within the collection. They also help deliver interactive interpretation across the National Waterways Museum.
Skills we are interested in or that we can help you develop are a basic knowledge of history in general and of canals, Organisational skills, Cataloguing records, Object cleaning, Researching collections, Exhibition research, Maintaining exhibition displays (working with the Site Maintenance Volunteer Team) also we are looking for volunteers who have the ability to be able to work with people Children and adults.

Volunteers must be 18+ and are required to fill in an application form with References and a DBS check will be needed. There is a Trial Period and all applicants will have training and an informal Interview. Hours are Flexible AM or PM
