A great opportunity to meet people and make friends whilst using skills in providing a two-course lunch for the housebound and elderly within our community. Local residents rely on luncheon clubs to socialise with others while recieving an often otherwise missed hot meal.
Ideally two days per week. chance to gain further experience and develop skills including working as part of a team and supervising staff and volunteers
Experience in a similar role. Food hygiene certificate and relevant qualifications required. Friendly, sociable and outgoing personality who enjoys working as part of a team with staff, other volunteers, and clients of differing ages and backgrounds. Someone who has empathy for the elderly and can show them kindness and hospitality through their warmth and cooking.
From Ellesmere Port town centre main traffic lights, (main junction in front of the police station), keep the police station on your left hand side as you travel up Whitby Road. St Thomas's Church is situated on your left directly opposite the newly built Academy. Turn left into the church carpark. Ample parking on church site.
