Exciting opportunity to take charge of the RVS luncheon club operating on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday in Wolverham. The cook's role involves helping to organise the lunches, plan the meals, stock the freezer, stock take. You will also be helping to organise the kitchen by ordering and shopping for stock & ingredients. Hours are generally between 9.00am and 1.15pm. You will be working with a lovely group of volunteers who cook and serve lunch to the local community on two or three days. This may reduce to two days.
This role will suit somebody who has experience of cooking for numbers and planning menus for a particular client or customer group.
Cooking skills or qualifications. For this role you would need be use to cooking for groups of people. Able to plan menus, order shopping, stocktake etc
Food hygiene certificate required or training provided. Knowledge and awareness of Health and Safety. Use to working in a team and able to communicate and plan well.
