Description

Are you interested in gardening, the environment or would like to try your hand at growing your own food? A community garden on the Greenfields site needs your help and by taking part you can get involved in your community, make new friends, learn some new skills and even grow your own food.
It doesn't matter whether you are a keen gardener, want to learn some gardening skills or just someone who would like to have a go and find out if they like gardening or growing fruit and veg. Everyone is welcome to share the work, the environment and enjoy the company of other community minded folk.
There are plenty of people to help you master gardening skills if you haven't tried gardening before, so come along and enjoy a day in the fresh air. Join the team, make new friends, learn new skills, share your talents and experience, have some fun, be heard and make a difference.
There are raised beds to sit at for people with disabilities or mobility restrictions.

No special skills required to take part just a willingness to get involved and do some gardening.  An interest in gardening or knowledge of horticulture or the environment is always welcome but not essential.

Based on the Greenfields site in West Winsford.

Only registered members can apply for opportunities.
