Are you someone who always goes that extra mile? Whatever level of responsibility you are looking for, whether it's to fundraise locally, create and organise your own events or co-ordinate Community fundraising you can get involved with Leukaemia CARE in activities to suit you.  It could be organising big community events, creating and selling merchandise, organising sports events, concerts and music events, weird and wonderful work events, school or college events, family fun, or anything that fires your imagination and creativity. We call them Community Fundraisers, and the opportunity is for you to take your role and turn it into something special. You might enjoy meeting people, organising events, thrill and spills, finding the best in people, listening, or making things. Whatever your talent, Leukaemia CARE can find a place for you. Depending on type of involvement, tasks could include; engaging in local fundraising for the charity, either helping at events, or arranging events of your own! Selling annual draw tickets, raffle or event tickets, Christmas cards or other merchandise, distributing and co-ordinating Christmas card brochures. Raise awareness of Leukaemia CARE by distributing posters or promotional material supplied by head office. Recruiting more Community Fundraising Volunteers who enjoy meeting people, not afraid to take an initial approach. Volunteers need to be literate and numerate and happy to handle money. Time is flexible - any hours you can give. Applicants will need to fill in An Application form References and a DBS Check will be required and an Informal Discussion will be held.

Volunteers work in their own local area.
