Description

Beating Bowel Cancer is looking for volunteers to manage a minimum of 5 collection tins within their local communities. This will require finding sites in the Ellesmere Port area for the tins to be situated in and then collecting, emptying and banking the contents every 4 months. Ideal for someone who requires a great deal of flexibility. Volunteers in this role have a greater degree of flexibility regarding times, hours or days they volunteer. This role could help to enhance your organisational and communication skills as well as basic financial skills.

You will need to be well organised, reliable and trustworthy, with basic financial skills as a minimum and a good knowledge of your local area and the best places to leave collection tins.

Volunteers will be working from the home in the Ellesmere Port or surrounding areas.  Expenses are paid.  Regular contact from co-ordinator for the region to support volunteers.  This role is very flexible but depends on a regular collection of at least 5 venues hosting collecting tins.  References will be required for this role.

Only registered members can apply for opportunities.
