Description

Help us celebrate our 80th anniversary and make a massive difference to someone's life.

Being a collection box coordinator doesn't mean giving up a lot of your time, simply place 12 boxes with local shop, businesses, keep in contact with the businesses where the boxes are placed and when full, call back and empty them. Count the money, bank it, and send out thank you letters. Anyone taking up this role will be fully trained and supported.

Raising much needed funds by placing and collecting countertop boxes in shops and businesses in your local area can raise a minimum of 35 each and if we recruit 80 volunteers that would provide 33,600 in a year. The lifetime cost of a guide dog from birth to retirement is nearly 50,000 and we currently have over 1362 guide dog partnerships in the north of England and North Wales alone. The Association wants to help more of the estimated 180,000 blind and partially sighted people in the UK who are not able to leave their homes alone.

Honest, reliable, friendly and have a little time to spare.
