Description

The Podiatry Service is looking to recruit volunteers to help and assist Podiatrists in a number of community clinics in the Chester and rural areas:  Lache, Broughton, Tarporley and Malpas.  Podiatry interventions are used to assess a persons foot and general health and treat skin and nail conditions as well as other disorders affecting mobility and foot function.  Also, Podiatrists have a role in preventing foot problems, promote self-care and foot health education.  Volunteers help set up clinics, maintain a clean clinical environment, meet and greet, help patients in the clinical building, helping with advice, information and educational literature.

Caring disposition, good communication skills and a friendly approachable manner.  An essential skill is that volunteers are reliable to help with the smooth running of the clinic.

An  Application form will be needed to be filled in with an informal interview.

Only registered members can apply for opportunities.
