Board games are a great way to entertain and bring people together to interact and socialise. Evening sessions can be on a Sunday, Tuesday or Friday evening, time to suit the players. This is a very easy way to engage with residents and the activities enhance their lives in the house.
This organisation provides services and support for those with a range of physical and mental health conditions including, learning disabilities and dementia. Volunteers are vital in helping us go the extra mile in providing excellent care and support services. The support, encouragement and understanding provided by our volunteers helps the people who use our services to feel less isolated, gain confidence and give them the freedom to enjoy an everyday life. People who volunteer usually find they become more confident themselves and all our volunteers are supported to access training opportunities and develop new skills
