Beating Bowel Cancer are looking for people, to help promote and support the cause, within their local community across Winsford. Beating Bowel Cancer is the UK's leading Bowel Cancer Charity
This rewarding and varied role will involve:
- attending presentations
- volunteering at and organising fundraising events
- identifying locations for promotional materials, collection tins and posters
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who:
- can commit a minimum of 3 months of their time
- has good communication and organisational skills
- enjoys meeting and working with people
You will be fully supported with an induction programme, as well as regular face to face or telephone meetings and reviews.
Volunteers with good communication and organisational skills, able to talk to groups of people or individuals and market the aims of the charity in Winsford. Volunteers need to be able to commit for at least 3 month period helping the charity. Volunteers work from home and work in the local community promoting the Beat Bowel Cancer message.
You must be reliability and have commitment.
Volunteers will be working from home around the local area in Winsford and Vale Royal area. A car isn't essential but might be useful. Traveling expenses are paid. Contact with the organisation is kept via telephone or IT. You will be doing your role independently marketing and promoting the Beating Bowel Cancer message in the community. Support and help is ongoing from the organisation and regional co-ordinator and a quarterly review helps support volunteers in this role.
