Help the ranger service in Ellesmere Port on a daily basis to maintain and keep safe public spaces for the enjoyment of visitors.  Also to contribute to the management of the park with conservation and public access in mind.  Venues include Rivacre Valley.  Usually on a Tuesday but might be needed other days.  Can also help with activities involving the Friends of Rivacre.  Some basic training is given to new volunteers including practical conservation and saftey talks.

Volunteer need to be prepared to be outdoors all day.  Willingness to communicate effectively.  Listen to instructions and be polite to other staff/visitors.  Manual work in a large part of rangers tasks and operating in all sorts of weather throughout the year.  Volunteer can be 16 years onwards for role.
