Description

Do you know someone affected by a road accident? If so, you will have some understanding of the issues faced by victims and their families.  Visiting clients in their own homes, volunteers will provide a listening ear to support people in their bereavement, provide useful information with advice, probate issues and other issues that arise through bereavement.  However due to the emotional nature of this role Volunteers must not of had a bereavement in their lives during the previous 3 years.
Our aim is to empower victims and their families in taking the steps back to some form of normality after the trauma of a road accident.  We are looking for people who want to support victims and their families within the community with emotional and practical issues. Our Volunteer should have an ability to set boundaries with a professional approach, good communication skills, empathy for the families or people you are helping is essential.
Volunteers work at home , the Induction  is held over  3 days, on separate weekends and out of pocket paid expenses will be provided Counselling and support on offer
Trial period and application form. All Volunteers must be age 23 or over.
