DIAL West Cheshire is a disabled persons user led organisation. We run a busy advice centre and community cafe in the heart of Chester. Receptionists play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the advice service- managing appointments and booking in clients to see the duty advisor. Receptionists also play a key role in providing accurate information and advice about local services to the public.
Receptionists at DIAL answer all incoming calls to the organisation- taking messages and directing calls. They take accurate details from clients requesting a service . Receptionists manage the list for visitors to our duty advisor service. They record relevant information on a database and maintain both digital and paper based information to ensure the smooth running of the service. They provide information and advice and signposting re other services Receptionists are the first point of contact for visitors to DIAL and will use their best customer service skills to ensure that all visitors have a positive experience of DIAL.
Professional demeanor, excellent customer service and communication skills, an ability to use computers- (email, internet search, file management, basic data input).
An attention to detail and able to maintain the accuracy of messages and other communication streams. An ability to help customers communicate their needs in order to provide accurate information and advice. As part of a team, receptionists are alert to the experience of visitors and clients and work with staff and volunteers to ensure a positive experience.
