Making Space is a national registered charity supporting people who suffer with mental health conditions, learning disabilities or dementia.  Also providing elderly persons care.  The Activity volunteers will engage service users in quizzes, bingo, board games and story-telling.  You need good communication skills and be enthusiastic to engage the service users in the different activities.  You will need a relaxed, flexible approach.

Good knowledge of different activities, good listening skills, you need to be creative and have very good people skills. Skills to help vulnerable adults.  This role will require a DBS check at no cost to the volunteer.  No set times this is flexible, sessions can be between 2 to 4 hours in length.
