As a volunteer you would be helping to run activities and support the individual's completing the activities. Our activities vary from arts and crafts and other small activities to day trips out and trips into the local town.
Tasks to be completed will be; helping with activities; working with individuals on activities, helping set up and pack away activities. School/College holidays are our busiest periods so there is a much wider range of activities on offer during this time.
As a volunteer you will work with individuals of a wide age range and varying abilities. Volunteers would not be expected to give personal care. All volunteers will have their hours recognised using a volunteer hour log and Vinspired. Anyone coming to volunteer with us will be given information on 3L Care and will be supported to carry out their role. Information on 3L Care policies & procedures will also be provided to the volunteer. Volunteers will have a key staff member who they can report to, ask questions/ advice & notify of any comments or complaints.
We would love to have volunteers with us on a regular basis; whether you can commit one morning a week, one day a week or a couple of days a week. As a volunteer you are flexible with the hours you can volunteer. A DBS Check may required for this role.
