Clwyd Special Riding Centre (CSRC) is a registered charity that offers a variety of equine experiences for people with additional needs. Set in over 30 acres with 24 horses of all sizes and types, the aim of CSRC is to provide a beneficial experience to all persons through riding, carriage driving, equestrian vaulting, equine learning and therapy and hippotherapy.
For more information what times riding, vaulting, carriage driving and hippotherapy sessions are on please contact us.
There are a range of activities carried out by volunteers during rides, carriage driving, hippotherapy and vaulting sessions. Volunteers are needed to help with the mounting or dismounting, side walking and leading during lessons as well as providing supervision and encouragement.
To help on the sessions volunteers need to be active enough to walk with a horse or pony during a thirty minute session. No prior experience is needed and training is provided on site. Volunteers just need to be eager, willing to learn and understanding.
