We rely on a small yet active board of Trustees to guide the charity and ensure that it complies with its governing documents and relevant legislation. We are embarking on an exciting time and are looking to recruit further members to help us in our mission to support and empower vulnerable women and women and men experiencing domestic abuse. We especially welcome anyone with HR, marketing or social enterprise experience.
Meetings are held 8 times a year on a Tuesday evening at our Head Office in Rochdale and Trustees are also invited to be part of a Sub committee. You must be willing to read board papers, engage in discussions and provide guidance on new initiatives.
As a Trustee, you will be expected to have an active contribution; giving strategic direction to the Charity within areas you have experience in, safeguarding its good name and using your unique talents on its behalf. The role is voluntary but reasonable expenses paid.
